What is the Vodafone Perc+ Instant plan, and how can I activate it?

The Vodafone Perc+ Instant SIM is a basic pay as you go plan which you can buy almost every point of the country, at petrol stations, supermarkets, hypermarkets and pharmacies.

You do not have to visit a Vodafone store if you want to join the Vodafone Perc+ plan, as you can activate it over our website or call centre and off you can go. SIM cards purchased in Vodafone Perc+ Instant plans may be used as any other Vodafone SIM cards, here only the purchase is made easier.

The easiest way to activate the SIM is by clicking here , but if you wish, you may call 1270 and our customer service will guide you through the activation process.

Before activation have your ID, proof of residence and the small plastic card containing your SIM at hand, and if you bought a device for the plan, do not forget about the box of the device.

Upon activation a compliance check letter is sent to you to the address provided in the process. To confirm the oral agreement you have to text back to us the code included in the letter to 1270. Important: The text shall only contain the code number. If you failed to confirm your data within the specified deadline all outgoing and incoming traffic is blocked on your SIM.

The list of devices included in the instalment scheme and other conditions that apply can be found on our website under the current offerings section.

Is it worth for me to change to a monthly plan?

It is worth to transfer your subscription to a monthly plan even if you top up your balance every month, as other monthly plans offer more favourable minute and text fees, so apart from saving money you will have more freedom in using your subscription.

You may even purchase a new device if you keep your old number at a discounted price

What is the initial balance of a new Vodafone Perc+ plan?

When you buy a new Vodafone Perc+ SIM, your balance is HUF 500. This amount may be exclusively used in the Vodafone network. If you want to initiate a call after the purchase into another Hungarian network (landline, other mobile network), then you have to top up your balance first.

The initial balance may be used for 90 days in the Vodafone network. The availability period of the balance may be extended with top ups, depending on your plan. Upon a short registration you may check your balance free of charge over the Online customer service.

The availability period of the top ups may differ in some plans, so consult the description of the specific plan or Annex 1 of the GTC (Charges and rates) for details.
